Course Objectives:
This course provides extensive instruction and practice in utilizing computer software: Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Publisher. The student will be required to apply the concepts learned on assigned and independent projects. This class also explores current trends and practices in technology. The student will exit this class with knowledge of a variety of uses for the software studied.

WEB PAGE DESIGN -- Grades 11, 12 -- .50 unit of credit
This course provides extensive instruction and practice in utilizing Microsoft FrontPage software. The student will be required to apply the concepts learned on assigned and independent projects. This class explores current trends and practices in web page construction and how they apply to everyday life as a student or in the workplace.
Course Objectives:
This course introduces students to manipulating a word processing program. They will learn beginning and intermediate skills for future use in college or business. Students will learn to format term papers, reports, letters, and other business forms while continuing to develop typing skills.
ACCOUNTING 1 -- Grade 10, 11, 12 -- 1 unit of credit
Course Objectives:
Basic principles, concepts and procedures of accounting. Introduction to accounting forms: Balance sheet, cash journal, general ledger, income statement, combination journal, work sheet and adjustments, payroll taxes and reports, cash payments, journal and trial balances. Students will also learn computerized accounting. Background course for those seeking employment or education in business areas.

Business Management introduces students to various skills needed in the business world. A study of operating one’s own business, developing salesmanship skills, emphasis is placed on advertising and marketing. Additional information concerns finances, production, personnel, government relations, and taxation. In-depth study of specific career opportunities in business management.
