Welcome to Willard City Schools, Home of the "Crimson Flashes." We are proud to be able to host many athletic contests and OHSAA tournaments here at Willard. High School Athletics provide some of the best excitement and enthusiasm in sports today.

In past years, many great athletes have participated in contests right here at Willard High School. The great tradition of sports and sportsmanship that was established by these prior teams and athletes is still intact today.

The Willard Athletic Program provides a variety of experiences to aid in the development of favorable habits and attitudes in students that will prepare them for adult life in a democratic society.

Willard's Interscholastic Athletic Programs are conducted in accordance with existing Board of Education Policies, Rules and Regulations. While the Board of Education takes great pride in winning, it does not condone "Winning At Any Cost!" and discourages any and all pressures that might tend to neglect good sportsmanship and good mental health. At all times the athletic program must be conducted in such a way so as to justify it as an educational activity.

Finally, as you watch the young people participating in any contest here at Willard, please remember that they are teenagers. While mistakes might happen, they are giving their best effort at all times. Be enthusiastic and supportive of the team playing and appreciate their commitment to participation and excellence. Your good sportsmanship and support is greatly appreciated by everyone connected with the athletic program at Willard High School.
